Scott is a recent 2012 graduate from Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Science. He also graduated with specializations in Health Promotion and Fitness Leadership. He is currently a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) a certified level one CrossFit Trainer (CF-L1).                
        Scott completed an internship at State of Fitness in 2011 and 2012 under the guidance of Justin Grinnell and Rebecca Klinger in which he learned to be apart of the State of Fitness training family and acquired valuable skills in the field of personal training. Scott was a year round athlete competing in baseball, football, and basketball for Dearborn High School in which he was a four year varsity baseball starter.
       Since the beginning of high school, Scott knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the health field, with his first choice as a strength coach. It was not long after that Scott helped his coaches formulate a strength program for his fellow athletes to help reach their potentials on and off the field. Years later Scott would say he is more than proud to be a certified personal trainer.
        Scott has experience in a wide range of training including Bodybuilding, Powerlifting/Olympic lifting, and CrossFit. He recently received his National Physique Competitor Membership as he competed in a Men’s Physique Competition in East Lansing (Lansing Grand Prix) placing in the Top 6 in his height class. He has ambitions of competing once again in a Men’s Physique Contest as well as CrossFit competitions.
      Scott has an amazing passion for helping others and works hard to help everyone reach their maximal potentials mentally and physically.
